How does MedReturn work in real life?
Our goal is to create a safe and beneficial cycle for unused medicines. When you submit a medicine, it doesn't just disappear. Here's the real-world journey:
- Verification: Our partner pharmacies physically inspect your returned medicine to ensure the packaging is untampered, it's not expired, and it has been stored correctly.
- Re-dispensing: Once verified, these medicines are re-dispensed at a reduced cost to patients in need, improving healthcare accessibility. They are never resold at full price.
- Secure Disposal: Medicines that don't pass verification are disposed of using environmentally safe methods, preventing them from contaminating our water systems.
- Refund: Your refund is a percentage of the value recovered by re-dispensing the medicine. This is credited directly to your MedReturn Wallet.

What medicines can I return?
You can return most non-prescription and prescription tablets and capsules that are in their original, sealed blister packs. We cannot accept liquids, injections, or opened medicine bottles.
